Through my current work, I’m drawn toward capturing the color and pattern I see in the landscape and daily life around me in both acrylic and water-based oil mediums.

I love the challenge of fighting my natural inclination to capture every detail in order to create work that is simpler, emphasizing pattern and color. My hope is for the end result to be work that is vibrant yet peaceful and of course constantly evolving.

My work draws inspiration from my life as a mom of two kids, and my husband’s land conservation work throughout the state of Vermont.
